The Canada Gazette is the official newspaper of the Canadian government, and publication in the Gazette is considered official legal notice to all Canadians. After a regulation has been approved by the Privy Council Office and then the Cabinet of Canada, it is published in the Gazette. If publication has not occurred, a person cannot be convicted or cited for a violation or an offense.
RegScan™ is currently publishing proposed Federal regulations, official notices, enacted regulations, as well as laws receiving Royal Assent. Provincial Gazettes for Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec are also available with more to follow. Affordable annual licenses are available now.
