When a RegScan regulatory link is added to a task it can be automatically monitored for changes in RegScan Socrates™. Linking a regulation vvith a simple copy & paste from the RegScan Cite Builder provides all the information needed to establish monitoring. Notice of changes are provided in 3 ways:
- Project-by-Project using the MyWatchlist service. A MyWatchlist
profile is created for each project and owner combination. Thus making
it easy to show all citations associated with a project.
- On the specific task page, a change is indicated
by the monitored link turning red.
- Via a notice in the daily email that a link has been changed.
Knowing that a regulation has changed while you are working to implement a compliance fix is critical to making efficient use of resources. Also if a regulation changes multiple times during the life of a project you are repeatedly notified with each change. Only when the whole project is closed or canceled does monitoring stop.
